Sell robotics data without giving up control
List the egocentric video and teleoperation data you already hold. You set the price, the license, and the exclusivity. Your files stay read-only from upload onward.
What you can sell
Egocentric and teleoperation data, in the formats you already have
If it was recorded off a real task, we want to look at it. You do not need to reformat anything to get started.
Data we list
- First-person video of real tasks: household, industrial, hospitality, construction, personal care.
- Teleoperation episodes with the robot and task declared.
- Multi-modal captures where the extra channels are described on the card.
Formats
- LeRobot is recommended, not required. It verifies most cleanly, so it tends to move fastest.
- Standard video containers are fine. Declare the frame rate and resolution on the card and we check them.
- Bring your own structure if that is what you have. The card is what has to be accurate, not the folder layout.
How listing works
Four steps from agreement to listed
Accept the Data Supplier Agreement
Read it and accept once. It is the contract that lets us list and license your data, and nothing can be uploaded before it is signed.
Create the listing
Describe what the data contains: task, environment, robot, modalities, frame rate, resolution, and license. The card is mandatory and it is your claim.
Upload your dataset
Through the browser or your own tooling with an API key. Large datasets upload in parts, and your files are read-only from that moment on.
Verification and grading run
Every claim is checked against the actual bytes and stamped with evidence, and the footage gets an independent KB Quality grade from A+ to F on four pillars, on the same versioned weights everyone else gets.
What verification gives you
The seal is the difference between a claim and a price
A buyer comparing two datasets with no independent check has to discount both. The seal is what stops that happening to yours.
On the listing
- A verification stamp on every factual claim, with the evidence behind it.
- A KB Quality grade on the same rubric every other seller is measured against.
- Measured hours, so nobody has to take the duration on trust.
If a check flags something
- The evidence comes to you first, never to a public listing.
- Revise the card and resubmit, free.
- Withdraw the listing instead, if you prefer.
- Contest it, and a Kinetic Blocks reviewer looks at it personally.
Commercials
Your data, your terms
Listing on Kinetic Blocks does not transfer anything. You stay the owner and you set the commercial terms.
What you keep
- Ownership of your data, always.
- Your choice of license, and exclusivity is non-exclusive by default.
- Your price. The grade informs the band, you set the number.
- Read-only files. We measure, we never modify or trim your video.
How a sale works
- The buyer licenses the dataset on the terms you set, and those terms travel with it.
- Non-exclusive by default, so listing here does not stop you selling the same data elsewhere.
- You can withdraw a listing at any time. Licences already granted stand, as they would anywhere.
Why bother with verification at all?
Because it is what makes your data sellable to someone who has never met you. A buyer looking at two datasets with no independent check has to discount both. A verified listing with an honest card and a strong grade does not get discounted, and it does not have to compete on price with inflated claims.
