About this dataset

First-person footage of skilled manual work recorded on a head-worn XphiCapture-1 camera at eight industrial and craft sites in Bengaluru (75 percent of hours) and Ahmedabad (25 percent) between April 2025 and May 2026. Eight trades at 12.5 hours each: electronics assembly, gem and jewellery, metal fabrication and machining, pulp and paper, semiconductor fabrication, stone and masonry, textile weaving, and woodworking and furniture. Video is 1920x1080 HEVC at 30 fps with no audio, paired with a synchronised head IMU (accelerometer and gyroscope at about 29.4 Hz) and per-clip JSON metadata, packed as WebDataset shards.

Publisher's own task names: electronics assembly, gem and jewelry, metal fabrication and machining, pulp and paper, semiconductor fabrication, stone and masonry, textile weaving, woodworking and furniture.
